Addison's First Outfit
Since she'll probably be a diva like her two big sisters, it only seems appropiate to post pics of her first outfit! :-)
More Beautiful than my Dream
Some of you already know, but a little more than a month ago, Jocelyn (5 yrs old) informed us that she had a dream about the baby. So, of course we asked what her dream was all about. She looked us straight in the eyes and said:
"Daddy, I had a dream that the baby is so pretty. I mean Dad, she's like just so pretty and beautiful. I can't wait to see her."
She went on and on and she even started to tear up a little....she was so excited knowing that her soon to be born baby sister is so pretty.
Well, as you can see below, Jocelyn & McKailyn got to meet Addison for the first time yesterday. After a while, I got Jocelyn's attention and asked her, "So, Joc, what do you think.....is she as pretty as you thought?" Of course, I was not too sure what her response would be.
Jocelyn turned and looked at me, and without even hesitating, she said, "Dad, she is even more beatuiful than my dream."
At that point, I tried to remind myself that she is only 5.
Amazing.

A conversation at our house yesterday.
Jocelyn: "Why didn't the baby come out last night?"
Me: "The baby will come out when God says so."
McKailyn (in the deepest voice a 3 year old girl can create): "This is God, get your baby out!"

McKailyn's Easter Songs 3/18/08
Listen to McKailyn right around the 2:30 mark. What she is saying is:
"Mommy why aren't you clapping?"
All the parents in the room are clapping after the song, but Jill is holding the video camera, so obviously she couldn't clap.....obviously, this excuse doesn't work for a 3 year old! :-)

Full Term
After 37 weeks, we are at full term and ready to go! We had an extra ultrasound yesterday and the docs confirmed (with no doubt at all) that we are having a girl. Her growth, size, heartbeat, fluids, bowels, etc... are all perfect. Her head is already down, so Jill is hoping she goes into labor sooner rather than later!
