Now with us all scattering across the country, hopefully we will all still be able to keep in touch and up to date on all the great things happening in each others lives.

Jocelyn Arm Update
Jocelyn is doing much better! Jill, Joc, and I visited Children's Hospital this morning to meet with a doctor to decide what to do about casting Jocelyn's arm. After running a couple of tests, the doctor didn't believe that Jocelyn wasn't in more pain. He referred to the Xray several times, and then pushed on her arm and asked Jocelyn several times if it hurt...each time she just smiled and say No! Therefore, we are believing the bone is healing faster and healthier than the initial doctor thought. The doctor recommended that a cast was not necessary and wants us to keep her arm in a sling and bandaged for three weeks just to make sure. Even better, before bedtime tonight, Jocelyn yelled to all of us, "Hey everybody look what I can do!". She wanted to show us that she could lift her arm above her head all by herself with no pain! God is good :-)

A not so funny humorous bone
On Tuesday Jocelyn was practicing her tumbling.....it just so happens that she was sitting on our high top table chairs at the time. As she fell from the chair she landed on her arm and the doctor said she fractured her humorous bone. She's doing great and we are going to Children's hospital Saturday morning for either a cast or special type of sling. We are very proud of her, she still attempts to do everything on her own and is not looking for sympathy (well, atleast not too much, but heck she's 5!) on top of that, she is maintaining a great attitude about it. Please pray for a quick & healthy healing of the bone and it you want to send a "Get Well" card, I'm sure it will make her smile! Thanks!

Telling Mom Jill is pregnant with Jocelyn
With the anticipation drawing near of when we'll know if baby #3 is a boy or girl, I found this video from over 5 years ago. This is how we first told my mom that Jill was pregnant with Jocelyn. Gotta love mom's response :-)

Veterans' Day
Yesterday was Veterans' Day, so I thought it is appropriate to post something in tribute to all the great men & women who have, and are currently serving this great nation. Thank you to all who have served.

1 week left!
After 20 weeks, we now only have 1 more week until we know if Schuckman baby #3 will be a boy or girl!!!
Will it be more barbies or new basketballs?
Fairies or footballs?
Dora or Diego?
Dolls or Dinosaurs?
Ariel or Army men?
Pink or Blue?
We are thinking of waiting until Thanksgiving to tell everyone in dramatic fashion!

Welcome!
Hello everyone!
Welcome to our first blog! This is my attempt to keep everyone (especially all of Jill's out of town family members) up to date with the exciting world of the Schuckman family. I hope to keep this updated as possible. If you have any ideas or recommendations, please let me know! :-)
