McKailyn's last day of school

McKailyn Grace wrapped up her first year of Preschool this week.
Here is her final song presentation of the year (that is until we ran out of tape).

Mother's Day Tea Party

Both Joc & McKailyn had a Mother's Day Tea Party during their preschool class on Thursday. I thought I would include how they finished their questionnaire regarding Jill.

My Mommy's smells like: Make Up
My Mommy likes to watch TV and feed the baby at home.
My Mommy is as pretty as Grass.
I would like to give my Mommy a Pink Pony.
I Love my Mommy because she's my Mommy.

Jill took these pictures of McKailyn just the other day while they were goofing off at home. Obviously I'm partial, but these are amazing pics.

Marriage Proposal

Yesterday Jocelyn received her first marriage proposal from a little boy in Pre-Kindergarten named Tommy. Jocelyn immediately placed her palms of hands on her cheeks and just turned away in shock.

I guess I'll need to start cleaning my gun collection.

I love being your daddy

Tonight while putting the girls to bed, I individually kissed them and told them, "I love being your daddy." I got two different responses, both being great glimpses into Joc & McK's personality, I think both responses are priceless.

Me: "Good night McKailyn. I love being your daddy."
McKailyn: "Good night Dad. I love being your kiddie."
McKailyn: "No wait, Dad...I love being your kiddie cat! "

Me: "Good night Jocelyn. I love being your daddy."
Jocelyn: "Good night Dad. Dad I love you too, and if I don't marry you and I marry some other boy, I'll still visit you everyday!"

Jocelyn: (sitting criss cross apple sauce style) "Foot wake up! It's day time not night time, wake up!!"

5 Weeks

Mommy Date

Since Jocelyn & McKailyn have been doing a great job of sharing their mom with their little sister, Jill took them out for a special date night tonight. The evening started with pizza at CiCi's, then shopping for shoes, and capped off with ice cream from UDF. Serious girl bonding. Both of the girls had a great time and asked if they could do it again.

While eating dinner last week...

Jocelyn: "Mom, I'm done eating."
Jill: "Jocelyn, you still have pleny of food left."
Jocelyn: "Mom, but my food side is all the way full."
Jill: "What?"
Jocelyn: "My food side of my stomach is full, that's where my food goes. But my dessert side is not full, so can I have a cupcake?"
Jill (dumbfounded): "Eat your food Jocelyn"
